I really like your picture and being a huge support of the Older Rin x Sesshomaru pairing I agree in saying that I can totally see their relationship becoming something more in the future and further more when you seriously think about it and this was pointed out to me by another fellow deviant. There is not even one hint in the entire series about it being a father and daughter relationship it's all fan-speculated because he never plays with her or gives her advice or guidance (not to make him sound heartless) but he is willing to go through hell (literally) to protect and save her. Their relationship is way deeper than a father and daughter one.

Before you say anything, I know that Inuyasha came WAY before Twilight ever did and not to put that movie series into comparison to the Inuyasha series but just please bear with me on this.

I had never thought of imprinting before...That's pretty insightful actually. The bit about what one would do for his imprintee is pretty accurate with Sesshomaru and Rin's relationship. I think he would do just about anything for Rin and her safety. After all, like you said, he did go to Hell and back for her. I couldn't agree more that their relationship isn't really a father/daughter relationship. There isn't anything in the series that doesn't indicate their relationship won't ever become something deeper.

Yay!!! I love Sesshomaru and Rin's love. All my friends think I'm gross for believing that they'll one day be together after Rin grows up.
They all think it's a big brother relationship.
